Norway has been pumping out many great artists, to the likes of Kings of Convenience, Röyksopp, Annie. Now Datarock seems to be in the spotlight. The duo from Norway, will be playing Toronto with Cansei de Ser Sexy (CSS), June 4th, 2007. Not only is their music super danceable, but these guys are pure jokes! Just plain silliness! Good laughs for geeks like me. Just watch the videos.

What’s that?

January 31, 2007: Boston was nearly shut down and flooded with police, homeland security, and bomb squads because they thought Aqua Teen Hunger Force cartoon network ads were explosives. This is the sort of paranoia America faces in a post 9-11 era.

This is a video from the ad’s creator’s website, www.zebbler.com, showing him and his colleagues placing the devices.

Peter Berdovsky, 27, and Sean Stevens, 28, were held on $2,500 cash bond each after they pleaded not guilty to placing a hoax device and disorderly conduct for a device found at a Boston subway station on 2-1-07.

At a news conference after the hearing, Stevens and Berdovsky stepped to the microphones and said they were taking questions only about 1970s hairstyles.

When a reporter accused them of not taking the situation seriously, Stevens responded, “We’re taking it very seriously.” Asked another question about the case, Stevens reiterated they were answering questions only about hair and accused the reporter of not taking him and Berdovsky seriously.

Reporters did not relent and as they continued, Berdovsky disregarded their queries, saying, “That’s not a hair question. I’m sorry.” (Watch suspects avoid answering reporters’ questions Video)

Their attorney said the two were putting on a “performance,” and noted that he had told them not to discuss the case.

When a man’s gotta eat, he eats steak. When a group of men have to eat, they eat an entire cow and throw in the occasional lobster. During our road trip to Montreal, at a classy joint called Queue de Cheval Steak House… you see me looking kinda stunned wondering how I’m gonna finish the giant ribeye on my plate, Justin looking excited to see his golfer’s special, that being more meat to eat on this trip other than the 10lbs of smoked meat he ate earlier, Joe happy to see a towering lobster dinner on his plate, but we’re thinking he would be happy regardless due to the multiple foreign substances in his system and the multiple digits from women he met the night before and Dan showing off the awesomeness of his Monster 24oz Porterhouse… notice the table tilting his way!

On a lazy afternoon during our roadtrip to Montreal, we went to chillout at the Kaffeine Shisha Lounge… you see Justin trying to get high on the peachy stuff, me trying to be cool while taking shots and Dan trying to be Mr Studly while filming this merde.

Gaston recently left quiettouch to go back into the ranks of his former employer. It gave us another excuse to meet up regularly to drink and have a good time. The guys from work with the inclusion of Alejandro met up at Country Style Hungarian Restaurant on Bloor/Bathurst. What we got was a wooden platter piled high with a mountain of schnitzel, homemade bacon, sausage, burying a bed of roast potatoes. We got a side of beats and cabbagerolls to boot, and beer to wash it all down. Six grown men had a lot of trouble finishing this feast. We then moved the riot over to an Annexe fav, the Green Room where we had drinks laced with blue Curacao, followed by more beer. Elvin and Gaston recently bought some heavy duty cameras and was put to good use. Pictures here.
